Fix my power window.
Power windows die everyday. One day they work, next day they don't. There is nothing you did or could do to break a power window motor or regulator without actually getting some tool inside the door. They just die.
Power window repair, luckily, is easy to diagnose and fairly simple to replace. What's not always simple is the cost of the parts.
Before I get into the finances, take a look at some pictures of the parts in question.
This is a closeup of a typical motor used to drive your window up and down.
This part is the track the window drives on called the regulator. Notice the attached motor.
